Who We Are
Learning with FASD is an Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care funded initiative to provide evidence-based resources to help Australian primary and secondary teaching and support staff understand and support children with FASD. Learning with FASD was informed by input from our Expert Advisory Group and Education Subcommittee, educators, and parents and caregivers across Australia, and developed in collaboration by researchers from:
- The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, the University of Sydney
- Faculty of Medicine and Health, Specialty of Child and Adolescent Health, the University of Sydney
- The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
- National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University

Positive Choices
Positive Choices is an online portal to help Australian schools and communities access accurate, up-to-date evidence based alcohol and other drug education resources. Resources include evidence-based prevention programs, factsheets, activities, videos, games, and apps. Positive Choices has been informed by input from teachers, students and parents around Australia, and provides specific information relevant to these groups.
